Our Team

Dr. Shana Lum joined the Yaletown Dentistry team in 2007 and has been an integral member since then. She graduated from the University of British Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998 and a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2002. Continuing her education journey, she completed a General Practice Residency with the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital in 2003.

The hands-on aspect of dentistry resonates deeply with Dr. Lum. She enjoys the tactile engagement of working with her hands and this extends outside of the office to the creative pastimes of sewing, knitting/crochet and occasional jewellery making.

Born and raised in British Columbia, Dr. Lum‘s entire life is rooted in this region. Apart from professional engagements, she enjoys travel and other active pursuits.

Dr. Esther Jang graduated from the University of British Columbia, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology in 1994 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1998. Since then, she has dedicated herself to provide a wide range of restorative dentistry with close attention to detail.

Dr. Jang finds her true happiness and satisfaction in helping her patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles.

She takes pride in giving patients a relaxing and comfortable experience while in her chair. She truly believes in a gentle approach to patient care.

When she is not in the office, she enjoys doing yoga and spends most of her time in her kitchen experimenting new recipes for her family.

Dr. Sam Daher graduated from McGill University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following six years of dedicated practice in general dentistry, Dr. Daher pursued advanced education, obtaining a specialty degree in Orthodontics from the Université de Montréal.

With a profound passion for the profession, Dr. Daher excels in providing exceptional care to each patient, valuing personal connections over mere dental procedures. An inherent educator, Dr. Daher warmly welcomes inquiries, whether they stem from online research or family advice, demonstrating a commitment to patient understanding and well-being.
